Nickname seems to be picking up steam among the Tennessee contingent. Yay or nay, rant?

His record against Dooley and Muschamp is abysmal.

Tell me about it. I cut the legs off my best pair of denim jeans this morning in preparation.

Those aren't jorts fool. You got yourself another pair of cut off jeans.

Jorts are hemmed.

Did you cut the legs off your overalls too? That would be awesome.

I like it. Still, he went from having a cult following to the hot seat faster than I've ever seen.

Man the wolves will be howling if our current band of misfits beat them. It will not be pretty.

Not really. Most were still waiting to see if he could competently coach a big game. Signs are pointing to no thus far.

I envy you. I find self degradation comforting, I don't know how to handle success without bitterness.

I'm sure I'll be joining you in my familiar place soon enough.

I'll take your word for it. I lived in Tennessee for quite some time and as a result have many Vol friends, and all of them have been whole hog on Butch since day one, particularly on social media. But I realize that may not be indicative of the entire fanbase.

Fixed it.

I'm already putting my playlist together for the drive back from Gainesville after we lose yet again. It's actually just Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" 172 times.

And don't worry, road. My cutoff jeans have been hemmed. They are true jorts.

I should have caveated before that there are plenty who are all about Butch (or were), but it certainly wasn't the majority, at least in my circles. I've said before that we have a ton of dummies in our fanbase. Fwiw, I don't think he is the worst thing ever, just a used car salesman that seems to get outcoached when it matters. Hopefully this trend can be reversed, though I doubt it. He will win games, but I don't think he will ever win what's expected.
