He cost us the UNC, Arkansas and Auburn game but has done a nice job this season.

I appreciate the kind words, top tier user dawgdayafternoon, but this subpar recruiting class is very concerning re: Germy's future success at a 2nd tier football school like VOLS imo.
For a supposed DB guru offering immediate playing time, he got completely cucked by all the elite corners that had VOLS in their top three. Then getting pants'd and completely shite on by Copeland and Walker, two croots he's known for years, on national TV is very alarming.

Pruitt didn't sign top tier DBs at UGA. He recruited Deandre Baker. A 3 star who is the closest thing we have had to a shutdown corner in a decade.

Pruitt is going to be a better hire than most Vol fans are going to give him credit for being.

Pruitt was always a better talent evaluator than a recruiter when he was at Georgia. Signed more 3 star DBs than 4/5 stars for sure, but many of those guys have panned out to be really good players.
Fwiw, I think Pruitt as a recruiter and gameplanner will be better than what Tenn has had in a long time. My questions about him are centered around his ability to manage the details of a program and the relationship between him and Fulmer. The dude has a temper that makes Will Muschamp look like a yoga instructor.
