2. Clingmans Dome (Tennessee) -- 6,643 ft.
3. Brasstown Bald (Georgia) - 4.784 ft.
4. Black Mountain (Kentucky) - 4,145 ft.
5. Sassafras Mountain (South Carolina) -- 3,554 ft.
6. Mount Magazine (Arkansas) -- 2,753 ft.

7. Taum Sauk Mountain (Missouri) -- 1,772 ft.
8. Brindley Mountain (Alabama) -- 1,322 ft.

I keep hearing about how Texas is "flat." So, here's little something most of you don't know, as is apparent by what has been posted over the last few years. It's not your fault. Hollywood tends to perpetuate misconceptions (and most of you are dumb).

2b. Christmas Mountains (Texas) -- 5,728 ft.
