Undefeated, untied, and two time defending NChampion Alabama comes to mind.

Give me another game that ended that way.

Yeah, a fluke, and it's been by double didgets ever since, and will continue to be.

When Bo was being recruited by Bama some UA assistant told him Auburn would never beat Bama again.

Your comment was rendered ignorant by stating Texas was more deserving despite loosing to uga in the bowl game when Auburn had beaten uga a few weeks earlier.

Except for the fact that Texas molested Auburn at home in what was the biggest home game in Auburn history up to that time.

Hence Texas was more deserving.

know we have a different system today but zero chance in 2017 Auburn isn't voted champion under the same system as 1983 with the same results because Auburn has a slightly higher profile today than in 1983.

And your entire post was proven ignorant with this statement. Under the 2017 system Auburn wouldn't be voted anything but into the playoff.

Big 6 question regarding Auburn

Auburn is somewhat of a Johnny Come Lately. Other than 1957, Auburn didn't really have a program until the 1980s when Pat Dye came to town and changed the culture. Before 1983, Auburn had a grand total of one SEC title. Since 1983, Auburn has won seven more.

First of all, learn how to spell.

Second of all, your point?

There's a lot plays we could've made to win in regulation...

I was actually complimenting Dye and the Auburn program for how they changed the culture and started competing on the level. But, sure, I went full Gump.

They beat us by 13.... if they hadn't lost their bowl game to Georgia, who Auburn beat, then sure they should have won... But they didn't, so its a moot point.

If 13 is "molesting" then what is a 25 point win? Because by your logic Auburn is more deserving than Miami since they lost by 25 to Florida, who Auburn also beat.

They did not win the national title in 04. Auburn was part of the big 6 prior to thier national title with cam newton because of their program history. They still had alot of conference championships and 2 national titles before that and their program was definitely in the top 6 in the sec. Who else would you put ahead of them in the sec big 6 if they weren't in it? Kentucky, vandy, south carolina, ole miss, miss st, arkansas? Yeah right. I'm no auburn fan but they're one of the best 6 programs in the SEC historically for sure.

You had reading comprehension issues. Reread and get back to me. I said if 2017 Auburn had accomplished what 1983 Auburn accomplished in a vote a beauty pageant champion system like 1983 Auburn would have been voted champion because the overall view of the program is greater than 1983 when Auburn was turning things around.

Oh yea, your comment is still ignorant. It's like you forget hat losing late has always punished a team more than losing early.

That Auburn team would have lost to USC by more than OU did.

That Auburn team beat the dog dick off the best, or maybe 2nd best, UGA team since Herschel.

1966 Alabama disagrees with you.

National champions in 1964 and 1965; a pre-season #1 ranking going into 1966; a perfect 11-0 record with a 34-7 victory over #6 Nebraska in the Sugar Bowl; finished #3 in both major polls behind Notre Dame and Michigan State (both of whom finished the season with a 9-0-1 record). Neither Notre Dame or Michigan State played in a bowl that year either.

1977 Alabama also has a similar argument to 1983 Auburn.

I guess you're going to give that 2011 title back to LSU?

2002, 2007, and 2012 Georgia were better teams than 2004 Georgia.

But he didn't, he got his arse stone whipped and bitch Yeldon stonewalled by a true freshman.

If Marshall doesn't miss a wide open Louis for an easy TD or Tre Mason doesn't fumble, or... well hopefully you realize how stupid going down that road is.
