Being the Arkansas of the East wouldn't be that bad. Yeah, we have been down a couple of years. Overall we haven't done too poorly for ourselves though and against some real powerhouses.

Yes, now is the point where people start screaming 17 game losing streak! We had to rebuild the program from the dirt up. It happens. Arkansas has done pretty well for itself in the SEC West.

The question is whether Mizzou will be the Arkansas of the SEC East, or if they will lapse back into being the whipping boy they were so long for the Big 8/12? It is a brand new day for Mizzou, they can choose to worry about the future or they can roll with it.

Mizzou really never goes lower than 5th as a worse case scenario.

Mizzou enters when Cats are at their rock bottom. With almost 200 Million in football upgrades and recruits entering the system that look like SEC players and not CUSA or MAC ones, UK in constant 6th is not assured yet. With Franklin, Vanderbilt showed it could go 9-4 in back to back seasons. Still to be seen if they can become the Stanford of the SEC.

It really may settle down to...
Big 3 = Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia
Other 4 = South Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt on some form of rotation.

Bigger delusion is K-State fans thinking they have a future once Bill Snyder is done.

Here is a good piece of financial advice; invest on Prozac now. When Snyder hangs it up, that shite will sell faster in Kansas than meth does in Missouri.

Your defense is legit, I'm talking about how awful your offense is and yet you still pull out games. Winning a game with that low of an offensive output has only happened 2 times in recent history? Thats not strange?

Dont get offended, you guys found a way to win. Just how you did win. Alot of teams have a legit defense and ST but dont have the win total Mizzou does especially in the SEC.

With the stats Mauk has right now, if you could've seen them before the season started what would you have guessed your record would be at this point?

Pinkel's done a hell of a job. They've also made field position a priority, willing to punt and punt away from dangerous return men to pin a team deep and lean on the defense.

Most Mizzouers think this defense is better than last year's. They're better at tackling and in overall run support. And don't look now, but Missouri's offense has been slowly coming around since dragging bottom vs. Georgia.

There's been an element of luck, but most of it has been solid coaching and team toughness and tenacity.

^ This has a lot to do with their success, because their recruiting does not add up to their on field success.

I for one am glad to have the great school of Mizzou in the SEC. The've had a good football program for a while now. However, Georgia and South Carolina were better teams last year, but they caught Georgia right after all of the injuries. In the end Mizzou beat the team we fielded and deservedly won the division. I hope that folks in Columbia, MO are proud to have that eastern division trophy in their case. They might just get another one this year. I would like to put in for Mizzou away tickets if I have enough points two years from now.

yea actually it does, that's what Pinkel's staff is good at, coaching up players.. we don't win with X's and O's..
