He's correct but I seriously doubt if young stud RB's are considering that aspect. I would also add that running "downhill" as he describes often means there will be huge impact as the point of attack vs 300+ pound linemen and LB's who are often heavier than the RB. The spread on the other hand often sets the point of attack to the outside where there is less resistance by design.

Not saying I necessarily prefer one system of the other but there are advantages for a RB in the spread that Bielema doesn't acknowledge.
