Every time you drive a car, you take on the risk of being involved in an auto accident that could lead to death, so are you going to start walking every where?

hen walking on a sidewalk next to a road, you have the risk of a driver losing control and running over you leading to death, so are you then going to quit walking?

Are you going to stay locked inside your home and hope a fire does not occur, or carbon monoxide poisoning leading to your death?
Driving is a necessary thing a lot of times. When you drive, you assume the risks of driving. When you're walking next to a road, you assume the risks of walking next to a road. It's really quite simple
Equating a violent sport to normal, everyday activities is not logical, valid, or sound

Players dying is no laughing matter to me. It's not exactly funny.

No stats to back up anything you and your coach are saying???

Arkansas is also banned from the playoffs

So you've had the idea for this rule change in your head for a while now?

K then show where a player died due to HUNH in the game. I'll wait.

Every one of those situations is avoidable in your everyday life, you do not have to do it.
In football, subs are allowed after every play if a fair opportunity for them to occur is given, the scenario provided by Bert is completely avoidable, which proves this is a safety issue not a strategic one.

I care about the safety of the players, I don't care who the coaches are.
Petrino ran 68 plays a game in 2010. Last year Gus ran 72 a game.
That one play a quarter must have been huge to garner such a wave of concern over player safety by the Arky fans.

Where were you on players dying before now. I never remember you even saying a word about sickle cell or players deaths until bert made mention of it recently.
I would think if your full concern is about player safety you would have been a huge proponent of this long before bert was. Interesting

This is a preventative initiative, like getting a prostate exam, mammogram, etc.

So you're saying football isn't avoidable in your everyday life?

The issue which Bert cited happened in practice. So how exactly is it relevant to the HUNH?

Teams had a fair equal opportunity to sub against Petrino's teams.
This rule is addressing the practice of forcing tired players to stay in the game.

Just like you don't have to play D1 football if you have a rare blood disease that can cause death due to extreme fatigue.
Actually, it would be much easier to avoid playing football than any of those other everyday activities you listed.

I can see you Arky fans are mad here, but I am asking simple questions. You may want to go to the food board for safer waters if you get upset easily...

Its has been made very clear that more plays=more potential injuries. I cannot bel. that a school like Arkansas would allow thier coach to be so flipant with his players safety.
