I was under the impression that we were talking about right now. Lafell's 3 years older than Julio.

I didn't say that I think Lafell is a better receiver, I was just addressing the retarded remark made by another poster.

Lafell and Julio are different receivers. Even Julio wouldn't have been getting many catches if he played with LSU's receiving core from Lafell's rookie year. My vote would go to Julio though. But I think its close.

As for Green and Toliver, that one's not even really close right now.

Man I dunno. I have nothing to base this off of except just eyeing it on TV, but I don't think he can run a 4.50. How fast was CJ?

Lafell will be a 3rd round pick.
Julio will be a first round.

really? you don't think he's that fast? His vertical alone is going to have scouts shitting their pants for a guy his size

No he wouldn't have. He would've been opposite of Lafell. Like I said, they are different receivers, Lafell is a great route runner and a good deep threat.

And this remark in no way takes away from how ignorant your initial comment comparing their rookie seasons was.

Maybe not 3rd, but if they were in the same draft there is no contest.

I think Julio will be a better receiver long term, but now they are close.
Both will be 1st rounders, Lafell would have been 2nd round this year..

Jones would have been behind Lafell.

Right now Lafell is better, but after each has completed college, Jones will be better.

Right Now?

I would say that Julio has more upside but Lafell is better currently.

Tolliver has alot of work to do before he can be compared to Green. He has tons and tons of potential but has really done anything. In terms of potential they are about even.

Better at what aspect? I can't think of one.

Maybe route running, but that would be it.

LaFell's stats with a worse QB than Bama's and one less game

Brandon LaFell-LSU JR 13(games) 63(rec) 928(yds) 8 (TDs)

Julio Jones stats with better QB and an extra game
14 (games) 58 (rec) 924 (yds) 4 (tds)

Advantage LaFell with one less game and a worse QB. LaFell and its not really an argument RIGHT NOW

As far as the Toliver question, r u serious, Toliver hasn't proven shite yet
