No other team can claim they held him under 41 this year.

Red Stick is a tough place to get a win. LSU has tons of players.

LSU played a better game against A&M, start to finish.

I expect AU to lose badly next week, that will solidify the A&M win as a better win for LSU.

Which is the worst loss for LSU, UGA or OM? Gurley was out early in that game and UGA has had a disappointing season. OM was playing shorthanded and is lower level team to begin with.

OM by far. The UGA/LSU game was hard fought and UGA just made the plays at the end. Game could've gone either way -- both offenses were terrific.

As an LSU fan, the OM loss hurt worse because OM is not as good as UGA (or LSU) and LSU played uninspired. LSU should have won that game.

I'd rather see a close hard fought loss against an equal, than a crap performance against a lower tier team that's never been to the SECCG, and who's most recent claim to fame is their 2003 SECW Co-championship.

Props to OM for winning the 2013 contest. You spoiled LSU's season to some extent.

A loss to a TierII SECW like OM (the only SECW team to not go to Atlanta for the SECCG)is a tarnish that's hard to wipe off. It's the proverbial dog shite stuck to LSU's shoe that everybody in the room can smell. That smell won't go away until next August.

I remember being a marginal team and trying to prove our wins meant something. It was a few hours ago. Kind of sucks. Oh yeah, still top 3 in the SEC, so eat dix.

and I actually was pulling for you guys last night... It acutally had to do with the fact you were playing Ole Miss which is a team that I would not piss on if they were on fire.

Geaux Aggies next week. May JFF scortch your whiny arse!

this may be the best post I have read in a long time. Perfectly sums up our loss to OM.

Mizzou fans sure do turn every thread into "see! See! We can compete!!!" When the east is as weak as it's ever been... It's cute how much of a complex we gave them in one season...

Quite the statement. For both teams.

A&M. We played a much more complete game against them.

We had Auburn on the ropes, and we let them off. We should have beat them by 4 scores.

We've got 91 wins in the last decade. I guess that's close enough to talk a little shite.

Ole Miss, by faaaaaarrrr. They had no business staying within 30 points of us, much less win.

The Georgia game was about 50 season-ending injuries ago for Georgia and Alabama.......well, hell, almost all of us were expecting 2 to 3 losses.

I agree with all of this. Auburn is the better win for the long run but the A&M win is a more impressive win in that they shut down the best college player in the country.

Auburn looked absolutely horrible for the first half of the LSU game. Marshall looked exactly a DB trying to play QB, and the run defense was terrible.

The second half was a mess, and Marshall hit a couple bombs against decent coverage, and Mason just churned out yards. Even with that LSU answered with scores of their own to keep Auburn at arm's length.

The aTm game was more impressive. Auburn is a much, much better team now than they were then.

I just mean over the course of the year being that they were the only team that has beaten us.
