That MSU team was legit... BeatUK in the finals of the SECt .. A UK team that went on to win the National Title... Sports Illustrated ranked Richard Williams' squad #4 in their preseason poll... Can't compare this USC team to that one... No one saw this coming.

If you played tackle you made me your bitch a couple of Friday nights in the mid 90s.
That was what we called a gate game. We had no business playing y'all but the proximity of the schools brought in good crowds to the gate. Poor schools needed that.

Nah I was a safety and a wide out but we had a few teams with outstanding lines. I remember Spencer's brother flattening people for y'all when I was a manager.

Mid 90's til late 2000's were the golden years of State. Stansbury underachieve and lost control of the program and we still haven't recovered.
