i think yeldon has the most upside.

If you are just talking freshman, arguably trey williams is in their class, but gurley and Yeldon are better. Trey certainly was considered to be the same caliber as those guys coming out of HS

I'd put Hill in there with them

Anyway, Gurley has had more touches by far, but I'll still pick him over Yeldon right now.

Don't know the order but this is just another standard year of the SEC having great backs.

Yeldon
Gurley
Gillislee- a monster today
Lacy
STACY from VANDY-underrated as frick
the dude from Mizzou, Kendial Lawrence?
LaDarius Perkins
Jeff Scott
Hill
Tre Mason

And Lattimore.

I wouldnt bitch about being "stuck" with any of the backs mentioned. I think Yeldon and Gurley are a wash. Yeldon runs behind a better OL, Gurley is a little better receiver out of the backfield. Either way...they are both gonna get paid if they stay healthy.

Only problem that will screw this argument up for next year is the guys we have committed to come next year. Gonna be splitting a lot of carries in T Town.

Yeldon. He has gotten considerably less snaps.

Doubt any of them prove to be like Yeldon and stop him from having a 250+ carry season like he would've had if Yeldon didn't end up being so good. Plus Fowler and Hart and Drake in the mix. And hell Lacy could come back. He shouldn't, but he could.

Gurley gets marked down because he is a terrible blocker in pass protection.

Yeldon is decent, but he isn't an amazing guy in pass pro either.
