He's referring to the years Bama won the National Championships which would have been in 2013 and 2016.

Nobody refers to championship seasons by the year in which the national championship game was played. We just won the 2015 national championship because 98.5% of the season's college games were played in 2015.

It was the 2016 National Championship Game for the 2015 National Championship

You just played the 2016 Sugar Bowl, as part of your 2015 season

Look, who do you think understands the intricacies of national championships more than Alabama people? Come on now.

Your topic makes no sense. You need to fix the dates

Maybe he is just assuming Ole Miss is going to win again next year and Bama wins the NC again

2 years in a row is not a fluke. Ole Miss would have beaten Alabama again if they played in the playoffs.

No doubt. All you had to do was replicate 5 turnovers and the Off The Helmet Bounce pass.

Off course that wasn't a fluke.

A lot of posts these users made now make a lot of sense. They don't even understand the end result of a season. Jesus

Timing is very relevant, too. While A&M did face Bama immediately after a very physical LSU game, they were facing a seasoned team with a quarterback deep into his second year starting. Ole Miss faced a Bama team with tons of inexperienced talent and a QB starting his very first game.
