Your loss to Bama is coming. It's not a big deal though, I think that'll be your only loss of this season and you finish 11-1. Better than recent years but still finishing short of what you really want.

Tennessee's d-line has been disappointing this year outside of Barnett imo.

UT's speed on D may be the tops in conference. I came away very impressed with Barnett (expected) & Jumper.

Barnett is obviously a stud, but the fact that Lewis, Vereen, Vickers and O'Brien are still getting the majority of the snaps across the line is concerning imo. Just not a lot of physical ability there.
J Kongbo, Kyle Phillips, Kahlil McKenzie and Shy Tuttle, all sophomores, were all 5 stars and they are the 2nd unit right now. Tuttle will be very good imo (still working his way back from injury), but the rest of the guys have not really shown up.
It should be as talented a front 4 as it gets, but a lot of less talented guys are still out performing the more talented young guys right now.

I think part of that goes along the lines of thinking that our dline will be fresher late in the game. Could be a big reason why they seem to dominate the opposing oline in the 2nd half when they start to get gassed.

They performed about as well as can be expected when you are without 3 of your top 4 guys. Would have loved to have seen Barnett, JRM, Sutton and Kirkland out there together against the meat of the schedule.
Back end is pretty bad without Sutton though imo. LBs go from elite with JRM and Kirklad to average (and even that is a testament to Jumper's improvement).
D line is probably the best unit on D, but even they have been disappointing a little bit, as I said.

I think UT and Auburn have the better fronts, but Bama has a great front 7 overall.
