From what I understand A&M gives up 36 ppg This can't be true can it??
not even close...we give up an avg of 21.8. That's with what happened last weekend.

Put LA Tech in front of a real defense and they would not be considered a good offense. Its amazing how a teams schedule skew stats so badly
that is just being dumb...but there are a ton of dumbass people in the state of Louisiana so that's no surprise.

What?
SC defense is legit.

OK, then La. Tech would score 35 points/per on Bama and LSU.

If you're mildly retarded, that's even 22 points LESS than what A&M give up.

put LSU's offense in front of any defense and they still suck. see how that works.

don't know how many points they would score, but every analyst on TV seems to think they have a very good offense. They get paid for their opinion. You don't...
plus you are from Louisiana so that automatically makes you mostly dumbass. There is a reason a half dozen shows on TV make fun of a bunch of cajuns....the irony in all of this...

Obviously SC has a better defense.
I wouldn't take too much away from the LTU game. The A&M defense doesn't do too well against quicker-paced offenses... they fatigue quickly (we shut them down for most of the 1st quarter).
LTU is a good team. They wouldn't trail blaze LSU or Alabama's defense but nobody is comparing the A&M defense to them anyway. Not even in that stratosphere, and not near the depth.
The A&M defense performs much better against conventional offenses. I don't expect LSU to run away from us, but I think they win a close one.

Defensive Rankings:
2. LSU
12. South Carolina
72. Texas A&M
Seems pretty clear that LSU is gonna beat that arse at first look. Then we look deeper.
Offenses A&M has faced:
82. Florida
89. SMU
??. SC State (really bad)*
47. Arkansas
41. Ole Miss
9. La Tech
Average = 53.6*
*(not counting SC State as a game)
Offenses South Carolina has faced:
92. Vanderbilt
98. East Carolina
74. UAB
105. Missouri
113. Kentucky
20. Georgia
73. LSU
Average = 81.9
Offenses LSU has faced:
81. North Texas
109. Washington
108. Idaho
116. Auburn
82. Florida
83. South Carolina
Average = 96.5
No wonder LSU is #2 in total defense. They have play exactly shite on offense.
Total Offense:
6. A&M*
73. LSU**
83. South Carolina
*even if you exclude the SC State game
** you also have to exclude the Towson game
Basically, the Aggies lost to the only defense they faced so far -- #13 Florida, which is the same D LSU lost to. LSU did beat a #12 South Carolina defense, which is, arguably a better defense than LSU, given the offenses USCe has faced compared to the craptastic offenses LSU has faced. Either way, we can't really tell. All I know is this:
Total O v D:
#73 LSU O v. #72 A&M D -- Advantage Push (within 5)
#6 A&M O v. #2 LSU D -- Advantage Push (within 5)
Scoring O v D:
#5 A&M O v. #8 LSU D -- Advantage Push (within 5)
#49 LSU O v. #36 A&M D -- Advantage A&M

That's understandable. 72nd is a far bigger number than 12th, right?

i like this arrangement. the only thing that a&m should worry about is LSU finally clicking in the red zone, then that advantage goes away very quickly. A&M isnt Florida or USCe so i doubt they keep LSU out of the endzone!
