Marcus has one of those amazing outgoing personalities that can fill a room...he is the perfect foil for Finebaum...

Booger is a great analyst...and getting better

I think SEC Network has figured out the pieces with how to use them...

One thing about the Finebaum show that's really annoying...... that desk setup for Spears is horrible! A nutless monkey can put together a better looking set.

Marcus is definitely the better of the two. Booger sounds like he knows what he's talking about but in reality just makes general statements with little substance. Marcus is great though. Like many have said, he makes Finebaum tolerable.

Love Spears and how neutral he is when speaking about matchups LSU is involved in. I turn finebaum off when Spears is done with his part.

I think Booger is pretty good, but Swagoo is the man.

What?

You are just pissed at him because he calls Aggie and Rebel teams "Charmin soft"?

I think ESPN did a great job when they assembled the broadcast crew. Except for Finebaum. Like everyone else said Spears makes Finebaum tolerable.

Haven't heard that one before. Doesn't change a thing. He's not good at his job.

I can tolerate either...but Spears is the best personality. I had to endure Booger when he was on air radio analyst for sports radio station that broadcast Bucs games....he has gotten better and I do think he provides more insight than Marcus actually. Spears is just more fun in studio.

The best analyst hands down is Greg McEleroy and its not close. I love his professional demeanor and he will break down nuts and bolts of teams and players. He loves college football and it shows.

I feel like Ryan is in the wrong spot. Seems like they rely too much on his recent inside the locker room experience. Who cares who likes RGIII

They are going to Tiki Barber him if he isn't careful.

I like them both. Booger seems more insightful. Spears is more colorful. Both are perfect for the jobs they've been given.
This. I personally like Booger more, but then, I watch the recap shows more than the preview shows, so I see more of him.

Booger is terrible. I often wonder if he even watches many games. He throws out generalizations constantly and is often factually wrong. He is a pure LSU homer as well and doesn't really hide it but the main thing I can't stand is he is clearly a lazy commentator who doesn't do his homework.

I think 1 LSU former lineman is enough with Spears. At least he is professional and seems to think about what he is saying and have a real basis behind it.

McElroy is good. Tebow is good. Finebaum is a clown but that is his job. The network would do better with more diversification than most of the folks being from Bama or LSU.

I bet he picks bama, he had bama ranked higher until LSU beat UF and said he has seen improvement in Harris.
