Wait are you saying they don't run rub plays?

Dabo just sent Saban spiraling into irrelevancy. No one cares about that loser anymore.

We've been running them for years, along with everyone else in football.

You are really just cheating your own team if you don't try to run them

Hell even Danny Ford ran them, along with the "trap the ball against through ground for the game winning TD" play.

Gumps are too used to the sanctity and protection of the SEC office. Kinds like liberals...it's always everyone else's fault.

Bama was fricked on that play no matter what.

I was serious about that statement. They call it much closer in the NFL but they will still try it under the idea of it being a "rub" play. In college every coach should have a play like that in their playbook. I have a feeling they are slowly going to crack down on it more though.

Yea, I mean almost everyone does. Some just execute it better than others.

Clemson was pretty close to PI territory twice on them, but you can't expect that call. Notre Dame/FSU was the exemption to the rule.

Watching it live offensive PI didn't even cross my mind. That's how common it is.

I can get the debate about the last one but the first one that was done was fairly obvious.

Right. What Alabama does is grab one of the wide outs and pulls him face down into the turf, thereby creating the obstruction that prevents the other defender from getting to the now wide open receiver.

Holding by Alabama was the only penalty which should have been called on the touchdown play.
