TCU lost their conference championship to KState. That should have been the first signal they didn’t deserve the CFP.

I don’t like the “best” vs most deserving concept. UGA is better than FL state but shouldn’t be in because that would require the committee to project what they think might be true. If you are truly going off “best” just cut the committee out and go by Vegas odds. The odds makers are saying UGA would be favored over Bama in a rematch. Not a convenient argument for Bama but just sayin’.

In this case not having a Conference Champ was too glaring when you had others who won Titles and/or one loss at the most.
