I don't know about the other teams' true fish LBs (you don't have any listed yet), but I'll submit Tyrel Dodson as a possibility. He doesn't start, but gets some time each game. So far, he has 11 tck, 1.5 tfl, 1 fumb rec.

He did and collaboration the Pocket all night long

We got a good line thereare no. No weak link like me there the guy in front of him is a 3 year starter.

Our linebackers okay but not our line.

He damn near killed Kenny hill

Only somewhat related, but just noticed that 17 of UGAs 20 2016 signees have played already. Probably a pretty good indication of why we're struggling so bad.

Linebacker Mack Wilson for the Tide has a touchdown and a couple of pancake blocks on offense and he has logged time at linebacker. If this is true freshman only he might of earned consideration.

Just curious, what has he done this year? I know J. Simmons has been a monster on the D Line for us.

Recovered a big fumble vs Clemson. He doesn't start so he's light on stats, but makes a big impact everytime he's on the field causing chaos in the backfield and disrupting plays.... Oh, and he doesn't beat women.

Kyle Davis hasn't been "best". He's been a nice surprise, but he hasn't been productive enough yet to warrant "best true freshman" WR in my opinion

Yeah he's had limited opportunity but he's looked like a star every chance he's gotten.
5 catches for 120 yards, 24 YPC ... Oh and there's this, possibly the catch of the year in CFB and maybe all football

Maybe he isn't quite yet, but by the end of the year I expect Tyler Byrd will be in the conversation at WR. He might already be our 3rd best receiver behind Malone and Jennings.

Greg Little is up there at LT

I had forgotten about him and his recruitment until I saw your post. Would've loved to keep him at A&M but it sounds like he's earning his 5 star grade already at LT huh?

As someone said earlier, he hasn't fully locked down the role, and had been rotated with another ot, but to even see the field on a competitive team as a freshman means he'll be a badass before he's gone.

Any Linebackers or Corners playing significant minutes? I haven't heard of many this season.

Jaylon Jones has had to play for us since Ken Webster went down. Only ten tackles so far but has about 5 passes defended and a forced fumble. Has looked better every week. We don't even have a freshman linebacker in the rotation. I'm surprised no one does though.

As much as this will hurt people to see. Jeffrey Simmons should be on the Dline.

Sounds like Simmons but Simmons is forcing fumbles instead of just recovering. Simmons looks like a man amongst boys every time he is out there.

I doubt anyone is surprised that Simmons has been good. I'm curious what his stat line looks like

The 2016 class of DL has been very impressive for the whole SEC. Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson are already better than Carl Lawson and Montravious Adams were for their first 3 years.

FWIW, UK RB Benny Snell Jr. is currently tied for first in rushing TDs.
