To be quite honest with you, Missouri doesn't have any history with LSU at all. On top of that, I don't expect y'all to be any good. It would be completely different if the SEC selected someone like Oklahoma instead of Missouri. Tensions would be a lot higher...Missouri...nah. You won't catch much shite...if any and I would expect LSU fans to be welcoming.

This.

LSU's atmosphere is gets significantly ramped up the better the opponent is. ie. the bigger chance we have of losing, the more seriously we take it.

They've played each other over 50 times.

Well, we do have history.

Lest you forget the '78 Liberty Bowl!

I have been to every stadium except, Mizzou, TA&M

LSU is most intense, but fans are mostly bark and no bite and will invite you over for some gumbo after yelling "Tigerbait" in your ear.

Ole Miss is exceptional due to tailgating in the grove

Tennessee is awesome, as long as you win. The sea of push pop orange is impressive.

Then probably Auburn and Alabama for good atmospheres.

USCe can get pretty rowdy and Arkansas is a great place to see a game occasionally.

UK and Vandy are good if you just want a low key, low stress road trip.

Not much history of going to Athens, just once, and most UG fans left at the end of the 3rd quarter. 52-17 final. Coach Spurrier hurt the atmosphere that day.

And going to Starkville sucks on multiple levels.

I've been to UF, UGA, Alabama (twice), Auburn (once for an LSU game and for the 2013 Iron Bowl), and Texas A&M in addition to several neutral site games. What about A&M stood out to you as better than the rest? Because it was the only road trip out of those 7 that I've been on that I didn't have an absolutely great time. It was even their highly treasured Thanksgiving Night game and it just felt flat. Was that just bad luck?

Only away SEC game I've been to was Arkansas...the tailgating absolutely sucked compared to what I'm used to in Baton Rouge, though the campus and scenery is very nice. Their fans are definitely passionate...borderline cultish. They were going absolutely crazy (this was the 17-0 game a couple years ago) and acted like they just won the Super Bowl for finally winning against a SEC team. Poor deranged bastards.

At least that's sometching that you may say to call some hogs.

Why would you call something "tiger bait" if you were the tiger? Bait is only used to catch something. Going after the bait is never a good idea.

It still doesn't make any sense.

I tried to look up "sooie" in the dictionary, but there was no entry. So if making sense is you criterion, you're a hypocrite.

Otherwise, anyone looking for "sense" in college football just doesn't get it.

That would just be food. Not bait. When you put food in his portable cage to take him to the stadium, that is bait. When you give him food in his habitat to keep him alive, that's just food.

Ok, we'll start putting you people in his cage to get him to go into games. Satisfied?

I'd say it was bad luck. Lots of great tailgating, notoriously friendly fan base, and a ton of tradition. Kyle Field is a top notch experience, and Northgate is one of the larger, as well as more consolidated, late night districts you'll find in a college town. Thanksgiving and a 7-4 team is likely the culprit.

Mississippi State's atmosphere has totally changed in the last two years.
