Just wanted to give Props to BA...That kid endured a lot of hate to have his best season as a player. I also think he looks like Brit from Flight of the Conchords

However, David Greene was not a very good comparison to Aaron Murray.

The comparison was perfect. We were talking about under-appreciated careers. Greene's numbers are not really well-known despite his career being pretty good. Same with Murray.

For the exception of Brandon Allen, I would take all those quarterbacks over Connor shaw.

Not if you had to win a home game, you wouldn't. 18-0.

In all sincerity, Shaw was a fantastic quarterback. He just happened to be in school when the SEC had several big-name, big-flash quarterbacks all at once. He also was never going to get appropriate recognition playing at USC.

Does anyone feel like Aaron Murray was criminally underrated just because he couldn't win the game that actually mattered?

I feel he is criminally underrated and it is not like he was responsible for tackling Alabama running backs.

The kid who left college with the most wins by a starting qb was a choker? That's the dumbest thing I've read in a looong time on here. And that's saying something with all the fricking UT alters running around

See this is exactly what I'm talking about. He was a hell of a QB and won a ton of games but nobody every brings him up when talking about great QBs.

Now go factor in Tebow, Cam, and JFF's running ability. Passer Rating doesn't tell the whole story.

I agree - I was hoping to find a way to do that but the only term of measurement is "Total QBR" from ESPN and that thing is a joke.

Kelly and Shaw were solid runners too. Not the 3 you named level, but they made big plays on the ground too.

Greene's passing numbers don't compare with Greene's. Murray's are way above Greene's. That is a not a great comparison.

Yeah, hard to compare a player with himself.

For the last time, we aren't comparing their games and numbers. We are comparing the unappreciated nature of their careers. Jesus Christ.

It all depends on what you are running, but yes in general I would take Kelly over those two.

Not saying Allen is a bad QB FWIW. He was the most improved QB in the conference this year

Agree and agree. Allen was very good, but Swag has gifts from God that Allen doesn't. That dude is talented.

Nah, I didn't think you were. I love what Allen did with the type of offense we run but if I was starting a team tomorrow and had to pick a QB it would be Kelly. The only concerns I ever really had were off the field but he appears to have straighten up.
