Top returnin rb's in the SEC don't really make one damn unless someone is returning a shitty coach's favorite like state and ole miss started out with last year.

I have to agree with ya. I think he'll prove his worth this year but all the praise is premature.

Yep. Yeldon and Drake are both more proven than Henry.

Henry is a lot more proven than Michel or Chubb. He's actually produced in a college game. Neither Michel or Chubb have put on a jersey. While I get your point, Henry is much more proven at this point. Our duo may be really really good, they may not. Let's hope they are, though.

This year, by the end of the season, the best two or three running backs in the league might be freshmen.

I really like Williams at SCAR, Chubb at UGA and especially that kid Fournette at LSU. All three appear to be special backs.

If you think about it, the SEC was already loaded with RBs but those three have the potential to be future big-time mega stars. Williams probably before the other two simply because he's already a RFr who has bulked-up and learned the speed of the game to some extent. But I fully expect Fournette to start three or four games into the season if not sooner.

the combo of Yeldon, Drake, Henry is not better than the combo of Gurley, Marshall, 5* Freshman running back

Bama only signed one RB last year, 5-star Bo Scarbrough, 6'2", 234 lbs. Probably won't see the field this year because Bama is loaded at RB.

I think Davis is the best returning back. But I wouldn't be surprised if CAP led the conference in rushing, especially with Auburn's o-line and Marshall as an option on the zone read.

Gotta love how the thread title pertains to RBs that are returning from last year, and several posters start throwing out the names of first year players who haven't stepped foot on campus.

Is SCar returning a lot of their OL starters from last year? i think they had the biggest group of OL in the SEC last year.

As for the true freshmen RBs, Bo Scarborough will probably have some sort of role for Bama this year, assuming he qualifies. He's just too talented to not be on the field at some point.

Then why are you posting on it? Maybe you should start one that's not.
