I don't know anyone who played in the game that was not the best player, on both sides of the ball. Just one hell of a football game we all watched today.

AND WE WON !!!!

so called best CB in college football.

Really?

Patrick Peterson is one of the best CB draft prospects in a long time.

I wouldn't give it to Jasper, simply because he missed a field goal. All of those guys played lights out though.

So a QB can throw an INT or a RB can fumble but still have a great game. Jasper punted as well and also rushed for 30 yards.

Lee... he came through and clinched it in the clutch and for that, he must be commended. Plus, he played a mistake-free game.

Gonna disagree, that 47 yard pass at the end of the game was a thing of beauty but before that point, he had 20 passing yards compared to Jefferson's 167.

The best player on the field TODAY, prob goes to either Julio or Jefferson.

After reading all the replies, I'm sticking with my original reaction...there was no "best player"...there were lots of great plays made by great players, but nobody was flawless.

He completed a pass to a wide open receiver on a busted coverage. You have pretty low expectations of him obviously.

Of the list posted, unfortunately I have to go with Jordan Jefferson...and it really pains me to say such blasphemous

feel you on that one, if they are hell bent on playing him 3/4 of the game im just happy he got some confidence back; hes been pouting and just deflated all year.

Nevis has got to be the only correct answer to this question.

Not saying that Jordan Jefferson didn't do great, which amazed the hell out of me, but Nevis was lights out. That fumble he caused was critical.

Randle..3 for 125 1 TD and 1 2Pt conversion.

Julio 10 for 89 1TD

Pretty obvious who had the better game.

Nevis
Ingram
Julio
Sheppard
Randle

Sheppard is one of the most underrated players LSU has had in recent memory.

Julio was going against the best CB in college football. Randle was going against a true Freshman.
