We'll just have to wait and see how the stats shake out. Skai Moore is as good as advertised, easily.

Other than the fact that he's led the team in tackles each of his 3 years that he's played there and is 2 int's away from tying the school career record and if he does in fact lead the team in tackles again this year he would be one of only a handful of players to EVER lead a team in tackles for all years of his career. Other than that no he's just ok.

Also you used DawgNation to back up a claim that a UGA player is the best at his position in the east. It's like my drunk uncle going to Drudge and saying it's proof Obama wasn't a citizen.

UGA has given up 25.5 ppg to Luke Del Rio (injured) and Treon Harris
Or are you suggesting UF has had an all-world OL and RBs that have been teabagging Roquan in Jacksonville the last 2 years? He had 2 solo tackles in 2015 and ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH solo tackles in 2016. Sure this pile jumper is the best LB in the East, I totally believe you.

Odd way to spell Skai Moore.

Skai Moore is good, but he's not as good as Smith is and is coming off a major injury.
Skai Moore (2015 - last season he played):
12 gms (12 starts), 111 total tackles, 6.5 TFL, 2.0 sacks, 4 INTs, 4 PBU, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 QBP
Roquan Smith (2016):
13 gms (10 starts), 95 total tackles, 5.0 TFL, 0 sacks, 0 INTs, 1 PBU, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 5 QBP
LMAO!!!

Evaluating an individual based on the performance of the whole defense is a curious strategy to say the least. Not that it even matters but 25 ppg is only slightly more than the 23 ppg average Florida managed in 2015/2016 seasons.

It's interesting that NFL scouts take different approaches to evaluating players than how they performed against one particular team.
He graded out as the second best linebacker in the SEC for the 2016 season via Pro Football Focus. But you're right - he probably sucks because none of his 9 tackles and TFL were solo in that one particular game.

Pro Football Focus also thinks Roquan us better. Stats only tell a part of the story. It's not an unreasonable stance to think Roquan is a better linebacker heading in to this season than Skai.
