I watched some great games in the late 60s and early 70s in Ms Veterans' Memorial Stadium but the only time it was a "neutral" site was when the Egg Bowl was played there. It was a home field for Ole Miss and it was a home field for MSU.

Not sure if the game in Bristol is going to be awesome (so many people) or terrible (nobody can see the field), but if I was a UT fan, you can bet your arse I would be there to find out.

Memphis Memorial Stadium, now 'Liberty Bowl Stadium.'

Of course, "Memphis State" played there, but Ole Miss,Tennessee,Miss State and Vanderbilt played several games there. For years Ole Miss would play Tennessee in Memphis when it was their "home game." Tennessee and Miss State played 3 times in the 1970's,all three being in Memphis.

BTW,Legion Field had at least 3 SEC Double Headers: 1968 LSU vs Alabama/Tennessee vs Auburn, 1970 LSU vs Alabama/ Auburn vs Miss State and 1973 Oregon State vs Auburn / California vs Alabama.

What are some of the more noteworthy ones?

Bear's first game at Alabama was in Mobile vs LSU in 1958. LSU won 13-3. During the summer with Bear's arrival and LSU poised for a big year (they did win the NC)some bleachers were hurriedly built in one of the end zone. Unfortunately they collapsed during the game and no one was seriously injured.

Alabama last played Southern Miss there in 1968.
