I'm leaning towards Alabama but the crazys there probably wouldn't make it worth it. shite I'll be surprised if Saban lasts much longer.

So maybe Florida or A&M? lots of untapped potential there...

I see the bait but I'll give you a little nibble to tease you.

Alabama is a great job because of the facilities, fanbase, and athletic department willing to give the HC whatever he needs to succeed. UT can be the same they just need the right HC to pull it off.

It's too close to the season for threads like this. We, as an online community, need to divert away from offseason threads.

I'm so fricking ready for the season to start.

What UT has, in terms of fan base and facilities, they lack in terms of recruiting in their own backyard.

Yes, Tennessee has the capability - and has shown the ability - to recruit nationally.. but teams like LSU, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn benefit greatly from the amount of talent in their own backyards. shite, even Ole Miss and State have a hotbed of talent to pick from.

I'd say Florida because of the recruiting base, but they have two other major programs to go against in state. Maybe UGA.

Not disagreeing you because you do have a point but,

UT has the national recognition to recruit country wide but with their recent slump they need a strong name HC to come in and turn it around.

No homer it's probably Florida

Money, weather, recruits. It's why Muschamp left Texas. It's about as easy a job as Texas.

Fl. Bama. Lsu. Uga. Auburn. A&M. Tenn.

First two are tossups, in order after that.

This is based on the last 10 years. Facilities, money, fanbase...etc

Without question. If and when that happens, we will start seeing an even great influx of those horrible orange hats on the table on NSD.

True. But that helps us in other sports. Football players aren't generally considered the intellectuals of the world. Just watch the SEC student athlete segment on CBS during games. He has a 3.0 in "sociology", great student. What? LOL.

I don't know about Florida. Seems like A LOT of pressure.

Looking at the last 3 coaches, Zook was fired after two season, Urban was forced into early retirement because he couldn't handle the pressure, and Muschamp looks like his brain is going to explode from all the anger any day now.

It is true. Our fan base is a little...well quick to judge coaching. We booed a two time national championship coach after a 13-1 season lol.

Ole Miss....apparently all you have to do is "win" the recruiting season.

And even then, you dont really have to win that.
