I have to give credit to the Tiger Eye as the coolest thing I have seen on a football field.

I think it looked better back when it was like double its current size. I assume that they must have shrunk it back when the NCAA narrowed the distance between hashmarks.

I love stadiums and football fields.
Some of my favorite field designs besides Tiger Stadium:
U. of Washington, Iowa, Mizzou, A&M, Ole Miss, Auburn, West Va,
Fla.State, ND, Tenn. KSU.

Without looking through the thread I'm gonna take a guess that Boise St blue turf has a commanding lead right now...

Mountains in Wyoming endzones are pretty cool.

Getting shade from the nearby hillside is pretty cool in Tempe.

Colorado's stadium architecture itself is nice enough, but yes the mountainous backdrop is amazing.

I've always liked Mizzou's endzones. Both the graphics diamonds as well as the rock M.

The Michigan M logo on their seats is also a cool look when the Big House is empty.

I think it's annoying how hard they try to be special and different.

we are special. we don't have to "try to be". we really don't care if it annoys you or anyone else.

I used to think the view from A Mountain in Tempe, AZ would be awesome. They show the view from the blimp and you see people on the mountain "watching the game". Then I hiked it and found you can only see one corner of one endzone from the BEST vantage point on that mountain. This is not me pictured, but this is the view:

Auburn was pretty excited about it. They danced all over it.

Cal's "Tightwad Hill" is pretty cool.

I've always been a fan of the gator head at Florida. I did not like when they switched to the plain "F"

+1.

Tennessee's checkboard endzone is great as well.

It's just simple envy.
When you have plain uniforms and a plain red helmet and a logo copied from a MLB team, that's pretty fricking pathetic.

The huge visitor section at Vanderbilt has always been cool. Nice how they are so accommodating.

Kentucky provides excess seats for fans. That way, if they don't like their seats, they can just move to another. Very cool.

No, it's normal seating.

It just seems like excess seating to Vols because y'all have so many fat fricks stacked on top of each other at Neyland.
