Funny, you bring nothing but one gif as your argument.

You're right though. I put a little effort into that and that was trying too hard. I don't have to try at all. Let me know when Collins is voted the best safety in the country(First Team All-American) and we can discuss this. Until then, lulz at the comparison.

Are you talking about only just in this thread?

You need to re-think your argument points at least with what I was posting. Not once did I ever say "Collins is better than Prewitt".

My original post was laughing that Prewitt would be SECDPOTY. I laugh at the idea that Prewitt will have a better season than the likes of A'shawn Robinson, Carl Lawson (if he is ready to go), Chris Jones, Knemdiche, Fowler, and VHIII.

You took it upon yourself to bring up Collins and all the other BS cause my little gif poking fun at Prewitt made you upset. On a final note, I am still not going to say that Collins is better than Prewitt simply because Collins has not had a full season of being a full time starter. You can bookmark this post and come December I will be happy to re-hash this discussion.

Markus Golden - 55 tackles, 13 TFL, 6.5 sacks, and 1 INT TD for 70 yards playing 35% of Mizzou's snaps on defense. Averaged a tackle every 6.8 snaps he was on the field.

Lol. "I'm not saying he's better."

"He's so much better though. Bookmark it, bitch."

Silly Bama fans.

PS: I never said Prewitt would win DPOY. Not a single time.

VH3, don't think its all that close, you could make a case he was the best defensive player in the SEC from the mid-point of last season on. But, and this is a huge caveat, a dominant corner doesn't have the impact that other players do, you legitimately not see him make more than one or two plays some games if no one throws his way.

Love me some VH3.

Now don't be silly. Of course it's close. You can honestly say guys like Chris Jones, Ramik Wilson, Robert Nkemdiche, Danielle Hunter, Kwon Alexander, Landon Collins, Cody Prewitt, A'Shawn Robinson, Dante Fowler, etc. don't have a chance?

Yes, you can. You can also make that case for Robert Nkemdiche, Landon Collins, and Danielle Hunter.

Really? While I slightly agree and definitely see where you're coming from, tell that to Patrick Peterson, Honey Badger, the 300 big name CB's to come through Bama the last five years , Joe Haden, Morris Claiborne...VH3 has the same chances and challenges as every other defender I listed above. All those DLman are double teamed every pass play.

Ehh, this statement is overplayed. No coach is only going to throw to one side of the field. That would give the upperhand completely to the DC.

DPOY? I think it will be either one of the ole miss safeties, collins from Bama, or one of the LSU corners. It wont be won be either of the best 2 defensive players in the SEC (Chris Jones and VH3) because both will be gameplaned around. With the canidadtes I gave, it is hard to focus a gameplan around because they will hurt you somewhere else.... More opportunities for them to make plays.

But overall best defensive player in the SEC is Chris Jones no doubt IMO. The things he did to LSU's very good offensive line last year, as a freshman, with not much help on the Dline, were something I haven't seen maybe ever. And at LSU I am used to good defensive lineman. Also, the only one of VH3s games that I watched beginning to end was the LSU game, where not only did he not make a single play, but Jarvis Landry made him look silly. Hes still #2 but im not as high on him as the rest of the board is.

Silly? Jarvis Landry made one fantastic catch on really great coverage. What else did he do inthat game? Answer... 4 catches 58 yards. Why do LSU fans love to hate on VH3?
