LSU's Top college players would be Eddy Furniss, Ben McDonald, Todd Walker and Louis Coleman.

I'm basing this on college performance by guys I saw play:
Auburn: Tim Hudson, Gabe Gross
Alabama: Roberto Vaz, Andy Phillips
Arkansas: Zack Cox, Nick Schmidt
Ole Miss: David Dellucci, Drew Pomeranz
Mississippi State: Paul Maholm, Eric DuBose?
Vanderbilt: David Price, Pedro Alvarez
Tennessee: Chris Burke, Todd Helton
Georgia: Gordon Beckham, Josh Fields
South Carolina: Justin Smoak, Landon Powell
Florida: Brad Wilkerson, David Eckstein (sure to change with the current crop of juniors)
Kentucky: Brandon Webb, Joe Blanton

David Robertson, RP, ....easily one of the best setup men in the MLB last year. Also, All-Star

Alex Avila, C, Silver Slugger and All-Star last year.

Wade LeBlanc, SP, - Marlins...meh

Matt Downs, Util, - Astros, not bad for a bench player. I think he would do a really good job if he had the opportunity tho

Tommy Hunter, SP, - Orioles. He did decent with the Rangers. Went 13-4, with a 3.70 something in '10. Before being traded to the O's in the hardest division in baseball.

Cale Iorg, SS, - Tigers. He made a very good impression "best out of anyone" according to Leyland. Could see playing time this year. Who knows though.

ETA: David Robertson tidbit:
quote:

"After registering the seventh-lowest single-season ERA (1.08) and 14th-best strikeouts-per-nine innings ratio (13.50) last season of any reliever all-time with 60-plus innings, "

I still wish to know what the '97 CWS would have been like with him there and not recovering from an exploded Achilles.

I worked on my hitting with him a couple of times. Good guy. He's freaking huge.
