Side bar is great but tends to get a little packed. Moes right up the street has good food and is usually a good time.

This is a little off-topic but there are some great breweries in Birmingham. Avondale, Cahaba Brewing, Ghost Train.

Thirsty Thursday at the Barons game is an absolute blast. I went for the first time last Thursday it was a great atmosphere and the $2 tall boys surely helped.

This may because I don't like loud, obnoxious people, but with the exception of Oasis and Moes, I try to avoid Lakeview at all costs. Sidebar makes me feel like a grandpa(i'm in my late twenties) with all the youngns in there, and the last several times I have been in there, the "music" has been downright horrid.

I used to get dragged to Innisfree sometimes, but I stand my ground these days.

If I ever step foot into Nana Funks again, I will assuredly perform an upper decker in their toilet, as they are a bunch of filthy, piece of shite narcs.
