There was a thread on your team board and one on the rant about payback for RSJs hit last year. If you want to see classless, go read some of it.

What was classless about it? It was just a reference to a 247 article relaying the secondary's comments, and a bunch of replies about how the hit was malicious and illegal (true), and how RSJ acted like a douche (true). A&M was even on here bullshitting about Dinson. A blindside hit by a 6'5 WR to the head of a freshman having a good season is fair game, but we can't comment on our DB's dedicating a game to him? IF the shoe was on the other foot, I can't even imagine the garbage that would be stirred on here this week.

I agree, but Rice was making light of a very serious issue.

They are doing so because the national media is whitewashing it all for ratings

While I may not choose the same method, I applaud and will defend any American exercising their right to demonstrate against a flawed organization of size and power that is clearly wrong and needs to be exposed.

I must have had too many beers already, I don't see what the band's trying to do in that video.

The secondary dedicating their game to him is great. Very respectable. The comments by some of the AU posters saying players should go after him and shouldn't be punished for injuring him intentionally are what I was referring to as classless.

And then they made a star on the field which was referencing Ken Star(r) that was fired as Baylor's president due to the cover-ups and controversy.

Too subtle for me

The camera angle on TV showed a Roman numeral eleven.

Nah, not classless. Totally warranted. Yes, it's going to be overdone but there will always be room to make fun of people who simply refuse to do the right thing, especially when said dummies get handed prestigious chairs in ethics after they run from responsibility. ANYBODY who knows the MOB would have circled this date.
For the record, they made fun of A&M when they joined the SEC (spelling $EC on the field) and made fun of SMU when we got caught cheating. Also warranted. And funny.

Did anybody catch them playing 'Hit the road, Jack' when they formed the Star?

Don't worry, I got you fam

MOB forms a "IX" for the Title IX investigations at Baylor.

MOB forms a star in reference to Ken Starr

The band allegedly played "Hit the Road Jack" as they formed the star as well.

On the soap box for this POS ?

here you go - the arse clown in action

Notice the date/time stamp. This was his second ejection and in prelude to his hit on Dinson. After the AU game note his remorseful game tweet where he post a video repeat of the injury and wrote “I got my foot on they neck and my foot on the gas.” At least until your coach made him redact his low class actions. Yes, people get hurt. It's definitely a full contact, grown-up, hard man's game, but there are reasonable limits to fair play and hard knocks. And as a player this guy is way the other side of acceptable. He did this very same shite all season last year and your coach let him get away with it. Personally I'd just as soon see someone on every team in the (entire) SEC deck this SOB first play of every game (cold cock - all year and the next) until he's finally relegated to the very pile of shite, of which he obviously is.

(saved you the effort to look it up)

ETA: (After the AU game)

If Rice has not made fun of your school, you ain't nothing.

As for RSJ, I think football is a contact sport. Take it to the soccer board.

Yep, full contact... that's what I'm saying.

Unlike baseball where you're dinged with the ball for being a thug and certainly more controlled than hockey where the whole bench empties to give an over the top player his due.

There is tweet on John Mcclains twitter about the loudest cheer of the night was when everyone saw Briles. That dude isn't quite evil like Joepa, but he's in the conversation for turning a blind eye and allowing (taking part?) coverups. The dude should never coach again and we have sick desterate LSU fans salivating over him.

LSU fans aren't salivating over him as far as I can tell. They want Herman or (to a lesser extent) Kiffin

Unless things have changed since I was a student (almost 2 decades now), the MOB is a makeshift band full of volunteer students. If there is a band director, it may not even be a paid position.

Baylor had it coming. We'll be called out on it for years. The sad thing is that after numerous failings, Baylor did the right thing and cleaned house. FSU doubled down and won a Heisman and Natty. The smart business move for Baylor would've been to say that there were mistakes, but Title9 is now being fully enforced.
Briles will coach again. He's a top 10 coach. Teams want to win. It's that simple.
