05- #5OSU #2Texas (SHOE) Loudest game of my life.
nothing you have ever experienced. You could hear a pin drop from 5 miles outside of the horseshoe after Sweed caught that thouchdown pass with 2 minutes to go. I've never seen more grown men crying in my life. Sad sad day in Buckeye history. I've sat through 2 losses in the national title and basketball. Nothing compares to this.

Close -
06- #1 OSU #2 Michigan
07 - loss vs illinois
08- loss vs penn state
09 - Loss to USC
10- Penn State game

Before I was a Rebel I was a Gator.... I was able to attend the sweep of tOSU in the NC and Final Four. Honestly, it was fun, but atmosphere wise... So so. However, I was stuck in a box for the NC game.

When I had sex with strange, called my married college roomates about it, and did it again the next morning.

2006 LSU @ AU was the best atmosphere I have seen from start to finish in a game. The blocked punt against UF that year was a louder moment, but nothing compares to the LSU game that year for a full game.

Non-LSU loudest I've heard was Bama and Florida 05 in T-Town

The loudest BD had ever been before the 2010 Auburn game. 05 Florida was loud for the fun of it. '10 Auburn was pure hatred. I still can't get over how we lost that game....probably never will. It has to be right up there with "punt Bama punt" in all time worst Alabama defeats.

The '07 Uf game was awesome from start to finish as was the '08 Bama game, but the most unheralded and awesome moment I have ever been a part of was '06 Kentucky. We were beating their arse and at some point in the game there was a timeout. I decided to take a bathroom break and when I walked back into the stadium for no reason cheers started to erupt. The crowd fed off of each other and I stood in the tunnel in awe of how incredibly loud it was for no reason. It was the loudest I have ever heard tiger stadium.

Maybe its because most other times I was involved in the screaming and couldnt actually take it in, but I will never forget that moment.

My caveat is that I haven't been to many football games live, and many of the games I've been to were kind of meh, because they were Pac-Ten games.

1999 Flagship vs. Tennessee
2010 Flagship vs. Bama
2004 Flagship vs. Texas
2011 Flagship vs. Ohio State

I haven't been to many other SEC games other than Arkansas games. I'd love to go to the IB or a night game at LSU.

While Pac-Ten games usually suck, there were two games I've been to that would compare to an average SEC game [though SEC games are still more intense]. Pac-Ten atmospheres are usually more "festive" than intense.

2004 USC-Cal
2010 USC-Oregon [not as good as the first, but decent for a Pac-Ten crowd]

In JHS... 1st half of the 05 Bama game was unreal.... 04 UGA was impressive.... nothing really compares to 2006 UF though -- the blocked punt to start the 2nd half was the single loudest moment I've experienced in JHS.

2005 UGA was amazing for a road game.... the place was going nuts before Cox's 4th down completion.... the game itself and back and forth.... just a great game.

2001 Alabama - Eli leads the rebels back for the go-ahead td inside the last minute.

2003 LSU was a pretty epic setting. 62k in the stadum and another 70k in the Grove. Gorgeous day, great time tailgaiting, just came up a lil short.

2006 - @ LSU. We had a lead in the 4th quarter and I watched JR and Bowe beat us. John Jerry blocked the ep to send it to overtime, but then Shaeffer fumbled on our first possession. heartbreaker but great great atmosphere at TS that evening.

2008 - vs TT in Cotton Bowl. Unbelievable atmosphere. The last CB at the old stadium at the fairgrounds. 88, 000 split right down the middle in red/black and red/blue. Great game full of huge plays. The OM side of the stadium ran out of beer. Nuff said.

Definitely an all time favorite of mine.

For AU home games:

1989 - AU/Bama
1990 - AU/FSU
1993 - AU/UF
1994 - AU/LSU
2006 - AU/LSU
2010 - AU/UGA

All time favorite away game for me was 1994 AU/UF in the swamp. AU beat the #1 ranked Gators for the 2nd year in a row for about our 17th or 18th win in a row. Eventually got to 20 in a row before UGA came back and tied us.
