The Learfield Sports Director's Cup may not have the perfect algorithm to determine best athletic department, but it does a great job of showing the overall success and trends of athletics departments, in general.

Meh. It's presented in a hotel lobby with hardly any media. Meanwhile, the Capital One Cup is presented during the ESPYs.
