Yes, for work. Thankfully I'm not there any more.

Some work doesn't allow you to surf the web all day. So coffee room papers are necessary. But I also like reading the tangible product a lot more because I read more of it.

I pick up a copy on my way to campus when I go tailgate. We have a RV to tailgate at, so I like to read the paper and drink coffee while I halfway listen to Game Day on ESPN.

Atlanta media sucks. It has to be the worst of any big city in the US.

I find myself reading way more article I never would have clicked on when I read the physical paper.

On the internet it's easy to bypass stories and things you may think you aren't interested in. But when the only thing you have to read is the newspaper, you find new interests real quick.

I notice it the most with a paper like the WSJ. I end up reading a lot more of it with the real thing than when I had an online sub only.

The story at the bottom of the front page of the WSJ gets me almost every time. I usually find it way more interesting than the stuff above the fold.

The OP asks for best and worst.

to the people who have just named a newspaper without saying which one.

The KC Star does a good job even though they just started covering the SEC.

The Houston rag is horrible when it comes to the SEC.

Orlando Sentinel, the St. Pete Times and the Jax Times-Union do a decent job.

The G'ville sun is okay...

Not SEC but the Charlotte Disturber has to rank near the top for worst sports sections anywhere. By week three all carolina teams suck and no more college football reports.
