well here's one released just today as a matter of fact. Best places to found a start up outside of Silicon Valley and NYC

Yea, our coaches always leave for better jobs.

Sorta like Chavis leaving for College Station.

That move was clearly about an ideological difference between Les and Chavis regarding que. I am on Les side Texas does over do the mesquite wood.

cool, but I'm not talking about bret I'm talking about pittman. He has always had good lines as well it seems.

I believe I saw somethign that said his OLs (1 at UT, 3 at ark) have led the SEC in fewest sacks allowed each year. I'll take it.

In all honesty, he was a great recruiter and I think he's a good coach. We hate to lose him and didn't expect it to happen.

Ok- here ya go:

We are 3rd in the sec this season in total offense vs 8th last season.

3rd in passing this year vs 11 last year.

5th in rushing this year vs 6th last year (even tho we lost one of our starting rbs, jwill, for the season right before the season started)

3rd in receiving vs 11th last year.

besides jwill, we had injuries to 3 receivers and 2 other running backs who were out for various amounts of games. (there may be more that's off the top of my head.)

so yeah, i'm happy with enos. ga can live happily
ever after with chaney. that said, i'd take chaney any day over your oc. of course, i'd take any random 1st year grad assistant over yours.

Why would Pittman want to leave? There is no better place to start an offensive line business than Fayetteville.

Pittman has had 10 jobs in 22 years. Won't be there long.

Almost as bad as Bert pounding pavement right before his team was supposed to play in the Rose Bowl.

He took a man's word allegedly and that changed fwiw. Lesson learned and make SEC-non competes in future assistants.

Good luck signing top flight assistants. Also, no competes that try and go across state lines are usually against public policy. You can probably increase the buyout/penalty for going within conference, but I doubt Arkansas would be benefitted by overreacting to one assistant leaving to work with former colleagues at a better program.

if you'd read the article you'd know we already had non compete clauses with some of the coaches, namely our oc that kirby tried to poach at first.

of course, he must not be very 'top flight' compared to chaney. kirby will obviously just take whatever scraps he can get.

Georgia is a dumpster fire that ended up with a worse coach than the one they fired.

The optics on this one do not look good.

Bottom line, coaches jump a lot. I agree it sucks for the program and especially the kids, but nothing good comes from saying anything other than 'wish him well".

Arkansas will be fine, Bret has always been a good guy to bring in a quality Oline. Georgia needs a better Oline.

If anything, the story is just getting dragged on longer than necessary by the comments made.

I did read the article. Just because non-compete language is added doesn't mean that it's enforceable--I.e. A court would prevent a coach from taking another job.

I also found it laughable that Bert talks about professionalism. He's been a loud mouthed buffoon ever since he took over at Wisconsin, and now he looks like a baby. Hell, Less Miles didn't cry this much after Chavis bolted.
