Didn't Arkansas double his salary to like 500,000 when he got there? Kind of a douchebag move to leave for a similar salary at the same position.

What's to deflect. He called Fayetteville a shithole (compared to Athens, I would agree). How does that have anything to do with 1980?

We'll see what Chaney can do with a ton of talent. Sometimes the talent can hide inefficiencies in coaching.

Tennessee had a shitload of offensive talent while he was there.

They had good talent In 2009 and 2012. Not so much other years.

1980 has nothing to do with Athens being a far superior town, not to mention the far superior talent that he'll be coaching.

I'll give a nod for a decent try at trolling but Fayetteville is routinely ranked as being one of the nicest places to live in the country. I'm not saying Athens is a shitehole but if there is one way you will fail to troll Arkansas fans its trying to knock NW Arkansas.

We live here, we know how nice it is here.

Pittman loves coaching with Chaney. They are close friends after all. Money wasn't the issue because we could have, and did, match the offer. He wants to coach with Chaney and that is that.

Personally while Pittman is a decent line coach I'd be worried taking him with Chaney. Chaney doesn't make adjustments well and he tends to panic in his play calling. Hope it works out for you guys.

umm, probably because he was brand new and half our offensive players got injured at the beginning of the season. go out there and compares stats and stuff of our offense from this season to last and then get back with me.

You really want to use the injury excuse for scoring a measly 12 on Toldeo who gave up avg of 21 per and was playing its first game of the year? You want to do the same for scoring 24 on Tech who gave up 42 per game? That was the 3rd least amount of points they gave up behind UTEP and Kansas at 20. 7 of 12 teams put 40+ on Tech this year and they have one of the worst run defenses in the nation.

They also put up a ton of yards and scored pretty well in those years. Great players make coaches look good. Now, sometimes a shitty playcall is a shitty playcall but at the same time elite talents like Gurley/Chubb can make anyone look good. Toss sweep - there he goes for 75 yards.

Pittman was trying to sneak out of town without saying a word to the boys that had been busting their butts for him for the last three yrs. Chicke shite move and CBB made Pittman his bitch right there.

This has already been proven false but Bert being Bert is making shite up to save face and paint Pitt in a bad light. Just another bitch move by Bert.

Give me a bit and I'll show you numbers. I'm away from my desk now. Of course, you're a well known something something so my work will probably fall on deaf ears.

That was kind of a bitch move. Especially since he had a scheduled meeting with his OL.

From my understanding, there was a team meeting scheduled for 10:30 AM, so I guess Pittman was going to meet them then. I guess he was gonna drop in an Arkansas team meeting as a new Georgia coach and disrupt it to say goodbye to the players, who were surprisingly critical of him before the news even broke (that's actually how it broke to Arkansas fans).

Also, Pittman was scheduled to be in a wedding in Salem, UT Saturday afternoon, so it doesn't all add up. That's basically a hit piece on Bert.

No one knows if it's true or false. Folks are just choosing to believe who they want.

Shouldn't you be pissing and moaning over your coaching staff running off another QB?

Most Aggies are very intelligent but you seem to a dim bulb in that batch.

So... We Had Multiple Injuries and A New Offense. It Took Time To Adjust.

You won't get this the first dozen times you read it but if you go on the Aggie boards and ask Tbird, Old Sarge, or any of the other fairly bright posters on there to explain it to you then you should be able to grasp that explanation.

Are you sure you aren't a Texas Tech Alumni who claims to be an Aggie?

Color me shocked - someone from NW Arkansas thinks NW Arkansas is a great place to live.

Everyone loves Athens. Some people love Fayetteville. Go back to talking about how terrible Chaney is - you have a better chance of winning that argument.
