You guys literally had no where to go but up last year... giving him a raise base on trajectory is rewarding him for shitting the bed in 2013.
I'm all about rewarding coaches for accomplishment... and believe me, auburns AD has been the worst about giving unwarranted raises.

I think Bert is a good coach and I really like the style of football y'all play. However, anytime I post in an Arkansas thread, I get shat on with "30-0" and stupid shite like that.

This is standard procedure and necessary for recruiting. Not sure why these types of things are ever a big deal anymore.

He won one less game than Petrino did his 2nd year here.
The incentives aren't all about football if you read the link, our team's grades are the highest they have been in decades and we haven't had an arrest since he's been here I don't think

That's alot of money to dish out. Regardless what most Ranters say in this thread, I think Bert is a damn good coach. Will the raise be justified in the future? Anyone's guess at this juncture, I do think he has arky heading in the right direction and I see success in the future.
