Well thanks but we finished like shite so I don't think Bert knows good recruiting when he sees it. Cause it didn't come from us.

I saw the interview he did and it didn't seem complimentary at all. More like he was making insinuations without actually accusing. He said that in the SEC you have to recruit differently and some schools surprise you with how they do it. Then he went on to say that Florida is now starting to do like Ole Miss and surprise you in the way they do things to get recruits

He landed one, count them ONE elite class before this year. It was still not top 5. He got that class thanks to having the nation's #1 recruit older brother on the team. After that, the Ole Miss classes were okay, but not elite. But from that class Ole Miss managed to shock the nation twice and be in playoff talk for the most part of two seasons and play in back to back NY6 bowls. Getting a good class this year is not a shocker.

I think he's referring just to the head-to-head matchup on Cleveland. Something tells me he was convinced we got him, then FL swooped in and scored, which is something I'm sure he's had to endure numerous times in his career.

I thought we got on him before Arkansas, but I know it sucks to lose recruits on signing day. We lost as many as anyone today.
