The closest thing to Spurrier we have going forward.

quote:

"I've been doing this 10 years as a head coach, 20 years as a coach overall, I have never seen a defense of that caliber in all my years of playing this game and coaching it," Bielema told FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman in a video interview. "Now, they've got some things going on around it they've gotta play good with, but that defense is gonna make it very hard for a team that doesn't just pull a rabbit out of the hat a couple of different times to be able to beat them soundly."

Bert interview w/ Feldman

Also, somebody needs to tell Bert to adjust the camera. Looking up at him is not his best side.

First of all, there is nothing little about Bert other than the chances of him living past 70.

Secondly, he needed a pretty big fricking rabbit to be pulled out of the hat to beat us.

He looks like he about to lean over and eat the camera in that video.

Pulling a rabbit out of a hat? Bert should know something on that subject. His win against Ole Miss was sheer luck, and he knows it. Hypocrite

You blocked a FG that would have won the game. You were lucky to have a chance in OT.

Not to mention the additional :01 you got in the first half

You mean the field goal that was past your below-average range? Right, that definitely makes us lucky.

Just because your coach challenged it doesn't mean it was right. Watch it again, it was clear as day there was one second left.

Y'all played a helluva game but the points you made are asinine. If you don't think the luckiest parts of that game were: the spinning 10-yard fumbled lateral that happened to roll to your running back on 4-25, and a wide-open sack that our dumbass DE grabbed Allen's facemask, then I can't help you.

In his defense, only one big fat rabbit...not a couple.

Surely you of the 5 turnover benefiting (4 of which inside the 30 yard line), prayer off the helmet receiving, pop-pass with linemen downfield throwing, giant effing sized Rabbit pulling out of hat to beat Bama are not talking about the size of someone else's rabbit!

That was also a rabbit, dipshit. But if that play falls incomplete, we still probably win. If Henry goes down, the game is over. Surely you understand that, right? If not, I'll call your social worker to come over and break it down for you.

That was a TD. You won by 6. At that point you were up by 7 with a 3rd and 1 from your own 34. If it falls incomplete Bama gets the ball back very early in 2nd half with excellent field position. Or, if the ball had been intercepted (as 99.99% of people - you included, I'm willing to bet - thought was going to happen) when he threw that prayer, then the game is likely Bama's by 10+.

It was a great Ole Miss win, but I think as the remainder of the season has further shown, that was an aberration. It was an anomaly and everyone who knows football understands that, which is why Bama is given benefit of doubt after that loss.

No. You don't respond because you know 99% of all sane fans and analysts not rooting for Ole Miss would agree you guys were very lucky and not the better team.

Honestly don't even care about that game anymore. Congrats to OM fans regardless of if it was luck or not, but I'll take Alabama's position over theirs any day right now. If losing to Ole Miss propels Alabama to going to the SEC Championship and playoffs every year, then I'll gladly accept being embarrassed by Ole Miss every year

Haha quote had nothing to do with Bama. It was just a set up to take the shot at Ole Miss. It was hilarious though
