At-Kansas and LSU will be the only teams left in the SEC playing smash mouth football as most other teams transition into the new wave football (even Bama). This bodes well for both clubs as they will be unique for opposing defenses to match up. I wager Ar-Kansas fields a better string of QBs during Bert's run but when both clubs run the ball well both will be fun to watch and hell for the opposition.

Think we have 9 national championships.
We only recognize 6 or 7 and only claim 2 though because we are modest. And because we don't want to be laughed at like bama is I suppose.

I hate to break it to you, but nobody with recruiting classes consistently in the 20s is going to win a damn thing. You sad sacks of shite couldn't won the SEC with Petrino. You don't need to worry about the NC until you can recruit with the big boys and win a few SEC games.

Not a bad comparison . Stallings was a no nonsense coach and his players were well coached.
