Well the beat the piss out of Bama last year and ranked No. 1. So yes, they would beat piss out of LSU. Good point!

They beat Bama by 7. Bama had the ball with a chance to tie and the ball was intercepted in the end zone. How is that beating the piss out of Bama?

Bama beating Arky 52-0 and TAMU 59-0 are examples of "beating the piss out of" someone. Beating someone by 7 and defending a pass in the endzone that would tie you as time expires does not = beating piss out of someone.

They won. Congrats to them, but the didn't beat piss out of Bama. That narrative is incorrect.

"Indiana could win the east". By that asinine logic VT won the National Championship last year

I didn't say Indiana did win the SEC East, only that they could win the SEC East.

Just answer this simple question.....

Does Ohio State have an easier path to the playoff than say, Alabama?

Also, Indiana would win the East, so what do you think Ohio State would do to them.

So VTech is the real 2014 National Champs.

Getting in? Sure. Winning a national championship, no.

Ok, Ok.......OSU's schedule is awfully easy!!! But is it OSU's fault that fellow Big 10 teams Purdue, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Penn State & Minnesota SUCK MONKEY BALLS!!!

Until the living dead of the SEC (Ole Miss, MSST, Tenn, Arkansas, USCe, Kentucky, Vanderbilt(?)) all started showing up on Saturdays, the same argument could have been made for the SEC.

I too think that OSU's schedule is an absolute joke, but if I'm the commissioner of that league I try figuring out why these other teams are so garbage!!!

I wish your comment was more of a focus.

You're absolutely right. Ohio State's schedule is stupid easy; however, I can't fault them too much. They did schedule an away game vs. Virginia Tech, which isn't that much different than Alabama vs. Wisconsin or Auburn vs. Louisville.

It's not their fault that Penn State and Michigan, two traditional powerhouses, are in the dog shite can right now. If they weren't, Ohio State would have four tough games on their regular season schedule and another for the conference championship if they made it. That's about normal for a top team/program in college football's history.

In fact, Bert is exactly right about something - the SEC right now is unprecedented. There has never been a time when every SEC West team has been a legit threat for the conference championship. Even Miss State, unranked now, has the chance to upset just about every team.

Not too long ago, Miss State and Ole Miss were easy wins. Arkansas could maybe put up a decent team. Missouri and Texas A&M weren't even in the conference, and even if they were, they were both rather shitty in the recent past.

For now. Notre Dame and USC are good teams every year at this time too. Eventually teams will get their beatdowns from the real teams in the SEC, and clowns from Tennessee, Arkansas, etc can go back where they belong.

That's the problem bucknutz, the "clowns from Tenn, Ark, etc" could play O Noio State's schedule and sleepwalk to 11/1 easily. And still be 6th in the SEC west.

Seriously, how can you even argue this with a single bit of credibility? Bama, LSU, Auburn, Mizzou, Tenner, Miss State, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, a freaking gauntlet for sure...

Whereas??? Good Lord are you dense?

When you get beat up week after week by that schedule, how can you expect to compete against a team that has had practice games all season?

Nothing you said changes this:

It won't change it if they do it again this year either. If it helps you sleep, then be about it.

Again, in the SEC tOSU doesn't have the luxury of starting 0-1 then breaking in 3 QB's during the season. Would not, could not happen. Ever.

doesn't bother me a damn bit, if we couldn't with it, I couldn't give a crap who did. Didn't watch half of the game. Lost money on NC Tickets because Oregon didn't show up.

However, the argument is still valid regardless of how many fraudulent titles O NOio State wins...

OSU is clearly one of, if not the best, teams in the country. And could probably beat any team in the sec once... All that being said, there isn't a chance they lose any less than 2 or 3 games playing in the sec west. It's got damn gauntlet this year

When Urban was at Florida, I think the only SEC-W teams he had a winning record against was MSU and Arkansas. And one of his wins against Arkansas was the scandalous 2009 game, which resulted in suspensions for Curles' crew.

This is the shite that pisses me off about OOC. OSU should play more teams OOC sine they get cupcakes in conference. Scheduling northern Illinois and western Michigan and claiming bowl teams is bull shite. OSU is every bit as good as any team out there but they look like pussies
