Is Ben Simmons the best all around player in the SEC? Does he deserve the comparisons to Lebron? He's def exciting to watch imo

Best in country, nobody is doing what he is doing, or has.

At his stage in development absolutely. Lebron also didnt have a jump shot down when he entered the league for those that forget.

He is the best overall talent in the SEC. Not the best player yet and still might not be by the end of the year. He will become the best pro player from this year.

His skill set shows that he can become similar to Lebron if he can develop a jump shot which I think he will. Too bad for us LSU fans that won't be until a few years in the NBA.

1st pick in NBA draft coming out of HS if that had been an option?

Absolutely based on talent, skills, and age. Lebron has always been a great passer and ball handler with size, as is Ben. The big difference is that Ben will never have the same power. Ben has better length, though. Their skills are very comparable, but Ben's vision and dribbling is a little better at this point.

He does seem to have some problems when he plays a team with a decent defense.

Alabama has a Top 35 national defense per KenPom. He had zero problems against us.

Yes.

Not even remotely. At Ben's age, Lebron was averaging 21/6/5.5 in the NBA.
