JJ deserves better than to be another footnote in UGA history: "Great player hampered by a mediocre team"

JJ Frazier deserved so much better than the stubborn mule he had for a coach. Maybe if he wasn't so conforming, the other guards on the team wouldn't look as lost as they were. That's very troublesome, and while I think Crump is probably going to be fine, he's not going to make a monster leap, more like maybe a Frazier like freshman-sophomore leap.

It's over, a good player and great story went to complete waste.

Frazier was a beast indeed. Unstoppable when we played

At least we finished the year with 69 on the board

Here's a dirty little secret, the way JJ Frazier played is not really how Mark Fox liked when he got a bigger role. He was much more of an Andy Kennedy like lead guard and it showed when he was "on".
The bigger issue is he's recruiting players that don't fit the style of how he WANTS to play now. He wants to play a flex offense, half court game, and none of the young players on the team fit that.
However: Is that really a good way to play today? I don't think so.

Georgia should be a team that, if they land in the NIT, steam rolls through the first round or two. A tough loss for a program that should be better then they are right now.

We have a basketball team?

Belmont.
And everyone criticized LSU. I agree LSU should have played last year, but the players don't give a shite about the NIT.

Yeah, all of those shoulds are absolutely correct but we have a coach who has maxed his potential out (nice dude, though) and an AD who doesn't give a flying frick if ANY of our programs are competitive just so long as the revenue streams are healthy. frick YOU, GREG.
