Of course it does. The deal is to use middlemen and keep the college clean. That’s the problem with Pruitt and his folks, they did it themselves and kept records. And turned that over to the NCAA. And Tennessee went scorched earth on them, likely exposing a couple other schools as a bonus.

UGA outbid Pruitt. Simple enough, Pruitt alienated everyone and tried to cheat without the funding or support needed to do it. But think, the Vols investigation turned everything into the NCAA. You know they didn’t just not turn in who Pruitt and co were bidding against.

The key term is in the first sentence: "brazenly". Never the adverb you want to use referring to your cheating.

Pruitt alienated everyone. Boosters, fans, and institutional folks at UT wanted nothing to do with him, ergo what he did, he did on his own. Which is why it was so amateurish. And that’s why the Vols were not punished for his actions.
If the words are too big or the concept too difficult for your mom to explain it to you come back and I can attempt to dumb it down more.

Everyone was/is paying players. The deal is to not directly implicate the school or staff, and considering how arrogant and flippant UGA has been about killing players/staff, sexual assault, an illegal street racing ring it would or should surprise no one if they crossed lines in this too.

6 year show cause isn’t enough, I agree. A 10 year or lifetime would have been appropriate. Brazen and stupid is a hell of a way to run a shady scheme, eventually your regional newspaper will write an expose’ about you.
