Yeah who knows. He should be more mature about it. I don't have a problem with a kid wanting to go anywhere, or get released from NLI, BUT his excuse of not having a relationship with the new coach is dumb. If he likes Groce so much and has that great of rapport he should go follow Groce to Akron. Groce has been gone for over a month, that hurts Illinois.

Eh, you're only team in this conference that's never beaten Kentucky. Ever. You've also never been to a Final Four.
The reality is we've seen this attempt at stockpiling talent before under a middle of the road coach. And unless Martin turned into a John Calipari overnight, then I'd say given what this conference has returning and coming in there's some other teams on the shite kicking list before Mizzou at this point.

Sure, but I still don't see how it's dumb. He has every right to get out of that LOI because Groce was fired. Whether that's the reason or not really isn't relevant.

Pretty sure I can think of at least 3 five star guys that were down to UK and Arkansas in the last few years. We've had some recruiting battles with Florida when Donovan was there.
Do we worry with Cal's capabilty to recruit like he does? Not really. Even when guys have committed to bigger schools than Mizzou, he's done just fine filling the gaps since there's generally a kid right behind them looking for the opportunity (see Tyler Ulis).
But of course I called you with your "scared" bullshite because you're not quite bright enough to respond with a rational retort.

Tier 2 = 3 or more Natty's and half dozen or so Final Fours (possibly all with same coach)

Tier 5 = At least 1 Final Four and preferably more
