Your kidding right?? They get the benefit of the doubt all the time. Before the Bama loss the polls had an SEC team as the highest undefeated team, highest one loss team, highest 2 loss team.
And seriously lets face it....4-9 from one conference would be impossible if more of those elite teams would actually play each other like the BIG 12.

All six SEC teams have only lost to each other. So as a group we are unbeaten.

SEC is over rated. Would you take South Carolina over FSU on a neutral field? The Clemson game will be interesting.
