Michigan State? I don't know where they would fall in this scenario though
Bingo. If Michigan State beats tOSU I would imagine they would skyrocket up.
ETA - especially considering it would be the last week of the season and voters would be looking for a reason to prevent an IB rematch.

Honestly hadn't even thought of this possibility. I'm pretty sure some trailer parks would be burnt down if Auburn beat Bama twice in one year.

Clemson would probably be next in line logically, but I think their beatdown by FSU would keep them out.
Well, considering the 2 idiotic human polls both have clemson ranked 4th, as the highest 1 loss team, despite their 51-14 home blowout loss, in the OP scenario, I don't see any way they don't move up to the 2 spot if FSU/tOSU lose in the last week of the year.
Only team that would really have the possbility to stay ahead of them would be bama if they lost a close one to AU or in the SECCG.
Hopefully will all be moot anyway when USCe spanks dat azz this weekend though...

Its Bama and somebody. The only way its not FSU is if JW goes to jail and the second team guy loses the ACC champ game. Then its a rematch vs OSU or who the hell knows. We will have squashed Auburn and Missouri. FSU would have lost to Duke. Who's left after OSU?

National Guard called in to prevent Alabama fan violence...again.

Florida State loses the ACC championship. Who would you put in/think would make it in for the final BCS Title game?
What are yall smoking to make you think this would put clemson there? FSU could not have beaten them anymore convincingly and they would have the same record as clemson.
So I will ask it again... What are yall smoking here?

Yea there's no way Clemson would go over FSU Clemson has zero shot to play in the national title game under even the most outrageous hypothetical scenarios.

From previous top five matchups this season, the loser hasn't fallen very far. I could see Bama falling to around 4th or 5th but not much lower if they lost the IB. So if FSU and Ohio State both lost, SC beats Clemson, AU beats Mizzou, and Okie St. falls to OU, Bammer would backdoor their way into another championship game.
Now that I've posted that shite, watch it all unfold in the next couple weeks.

Welp.
Bama loses to Auburn, Mizzou loses to A&M.
Top 10 would probably look like this.
Florida State
Ohio State
Auburn
Alabama
Clemson
Oklahoma State
Stanford
South Carolina
Baylor
Mizzou
Here's where it would get seriously strange.
Florida State loses
Ohio State loses
Auburn loses
Oklahoma State loses
Stanford loses
All in their championship games.
Alabama by not playing...back in the BCS title game. But who would they play?
Probably Clemson...who also didn't play in a championship game.
I'd like to see that just to watch the college football pundits heads collectively explode.

Michigan St. gets the leg up on Clemson by virtue of beating Ohio State. They will shoot up the rankings if they beat tOSU. Their only loss was 17-13 to ND.

Ok St doesn't play a championship game, and Stanford already has two losses so they aren't in the running regardless of what they do in the Pac 12 title game.

How would a two loss Clemson team make the cut?
This is a funny thread.

Hmmm if Auburn wins out and Mich St beats OSU and FSU loses I could see a Mich St vs Auburn game.
