I guess one positive for the Vols is that the crowd will be so far away that Jones won't be able to hear the obscenities being hurled at him by Vol fans.

Does Bristol at least have really good wifi so people can see the game on their phones?

Even though the "squint harder and open your mouth farther" method is popular in Tennessee, I don't think it'll work here.

I'm just glad it wasn't Bama who had the first NASCAR football game

My EXACT thought as well. Thank you UT for being more redneck than Bama.

This is expected to be the largest gathering of white rednecks since Lee Greenwood opened for Alabama at Stone Mountain in 1986.

They had this fabulous laser show where Robert E. Lee drew his sword and seemed to ride off the mountain.

It's for the experience of going to a college football game that gives you better views from your cell phone than from your seats.

It will also set a record for the most black people to ever set foot in Bristol, Tennessee.

Actually no. Bristol has a pretty sizeable African American population for the area.

That said, my sole purpose for going to this is to search for the infamous Elmer and LuLu. And damnit if I have to spend four quarters searching each section, I will find the most famous, accurate Vols fans of all time.
