What would this board be without making sweeping generalities of an entire group of people by the actions of a few?

A ghost town would be my guess.

My uncle was one of those roustabouts actually. He eventually obtained specific skills in the oil field industry and now clears 300+k annually with no college degree. My cousin had to graduate from a school in Africa though, so that's weird. But they're comfortably back in LA now.

At one time you could make a killing if you were willing to put in the work working offshore.

It's called deductive reasoning. The article posted his La address, his last name is Beauchamp and of all places he was in BR for a bachelor party. Sounds like a local to me. Sorry hes a native.

This is what I'm talking about when I say SEC fans are an entirely different level of fanatic. In the B12, Mizzou and kansas literally murdered each other 150 years ago, but we haven't murdered let alone really physically assaulted each other In a century.

I had a Bama pastor friend distance himself from me for like a month because I said that the Ray hit in the SEC Championship game he got ejected for was boarder line. Your fans will molest each other, assault each other, and murder each other over fandom. We as Mizzou fans love it here and love having you in Columbia, but I don't think we will ever be able to reach your level of respectful hatred. Maybe in 100 years, but for now this conference is still the one that rescued us from pure dysfunction and for that reason it's hard to hate you regardless of what you do.

Burg I think it's petty if your friend would act like that over a game but if you think that hit on Simms was borderline, then I think your delusional too.

I've known this guy my entire life. He's born and raised in Clinton, La. A Florida bandwagon fan due to the success of Spurrier, but definitely not a Florida native.

By the letter of the law it was illegal, but let's not pretend like officials don't bend the rules during "key" times in the game. For example how many holds are called in a 2 minute drill or an end of game hail marry?

It was so early in the game and a player that created such a mismatch for us it just hurt doubly bad. Less of a, "that's not a penalty" and more of a, "come on show some grave this early in the game." Reaction. When you are in a position to demand grace you don't have much to stand on.

Posters here scurry around like chickens pecking at any news story that might paint a rival in a bad light. Is this what being 18-21 yrs old and not having a clue means?

No time to reason and no brain matter to do it with. I pray that a lot of posters here do not produce offspring, thank God Im older and will not have to put up with them in the future. Carry on.

What are you talking about Burg? Your equating some holding calls to to a guy spearing a guy in the head. It was absolutely the right call, and the play was bush league. Nothing else to say about that play.
