Oh shite. Ya'll got Ben Simmonsitis.

Hope ya'll at least make the NIT with all this pre-season hot air.

Can't wait. If the FBI doesn't get us, I think Bama is going to make a little noise this year.

Really don't lose much from last year, and that was a very solid team by the end of the year. Kingsley and Hannahs were great at what they did best, but they weren't amazing all-around players. Hannahs especially is not near the loss that some people seem to think. Notice he played only 19 minutes against UNC.

Kingsley's defensive presence will be missed but Gafford and Thompson leave us with some very capable big men.

Outside of that the team has only added experience. Our best players were in there first season last year, and that was a big reason for the slow start.

Agreed. Hogs will be better than last year. Doesn't bode well for a lot of teams. Including Kentucky.

We also have an absurd amount of seniors on the roster for a college basketball team.

In previous stints you are right about Howland, however in this case, I think it will be the fourth year before you see the big jump.
The reason being, his first year was a lost season with 4 Seniors and a 5 star bust who has transferred out. Last year was effectively his first season IMO.
So this year, I look for improvement, a better SEC record, an overall winning record and progress towards being an elite team again. I am excited about the Dawgs and agree than when us, Bama, Arky are all good, it is fun and good for the SEC.
