The worse time is the summer months even for us UF fans and our lights out BB team.....but thank God for the Tampa Bay Rays broadcasting almost every single game during the baseball season so I can watch and fall asleep on sofa.
I do enjoy baseball...but its hard to stay 100% focused. The lull in the action after football seems like eternity.

You guys saying summer/July should try golf. It feels a small piece of the void until SEC Media Days arrive

I don't understand basketball whining.
It is constant. Just stay away from other people's fun.

It's no whining it's the slow painful resolution that your team absolutely sucks. UF fans wouldn't understand because they usually have a good football and basketball team but for those of us whose team sucks it's like watching a slow motion train wreck

You don't have to only watch Auburn play. I love good basketball and will watch it whenever I can.

Is this the most depressing part of the sports calendar for most SEC fans?
It is if your Auburn. But real College sports programs make an attempt to be competitive at all sports (see Florida). Not only because it reflects a complete competitive nature, but also because real dollars can be earned helping the overall health of the University's athletic department.

Not really. Not a huge Basketball fan but I like the tournament. Plus the NFL and recruiting are still going on. April has the draft (or used to at least) and the Masters. My sports doldrums used to begin the Monday after the Masters
